When Shah Rukh Khan's film Badshah was released in 1999, rapper Badshah said that he used the stage name 'cool equal' at first, but then changed it. He was saying on the 13th season of Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
On Wednesday's episode of the game show, Neha Kakkar and Badshah made an appearance. "Badshah, your real name is Aditya Pratik Singh," Amitabh remarked during the game. "How did Aditya Pratik Singh end up as Badshah?" he inquired.
Amitabh was told by the rapper, "I used to go by the name cool equal, which was a strange one. That was my email address, which I changed to my stage name. Then I came to my senses and realized that this was a strange name."
"When I was looking for my stage name, I was a tremendous fan of Shah Rukh Khan sir," he continued. His film Badshah was released around that time (1999). Badshah was my stage name from then on. It didn't require much work on my part." "Oh!" the host exclaimed to Badshah. "Way to go."
"Accha bhaisaab, agar mai rapper banta to mai apna naam kya rakhta?" Amitabh Bachchan also asked Badshah. (OK, if I were a rapper, what would my stage name be?) "Sir, you already have one, AB Baby," Badshah said. "Arre, very cute," Neha Kakkar said.
Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture on Instagram when they were filming the show. He wrote, "Yo... doing the cool dude with the BADSHAH." On the show, Neha and Badshah made a big entrance.

The actor is preparing for the release of his next film, Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. He may also be seen in the films Goodbye, Jhund, and Runway 34.
