After attending a special screening of the film, Kaif took to Instagram to praise the film's director Meghna Gulzar and Vicky's portrayal of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

In her note, Kaif described Sam Bahadur as a "poetic, beautiful, and classic film" that transported her to another era. She commended Meghna's passion for storytelling and attention to detail in every shot.

Katrina's most profound praise was reserved for Vicky's performance. She lauded his grace, heroism, and grit, describing his portrayal as "flawless" and "astounding." She expressed her pride in witnessing his dedication to the role and his transformation into Sam Manekshaw. Katrina concluded her note by stating that Vicky's performance is "one to be remembered."

Speaking of the film, directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur will be released tomorrow, December 1. It will be facing a clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Besides Vicky, the film also stars Dangal girls Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Sam’s wife, respectively.

Meanwhile, Katrina’s latest release Tiger 3 is currently playing in the theatres. It’s the third instalment of the Salman Khan starrer franchise and the fifth film of YRF’s Spy Universe. The Maneesh Sharma directorial also features Emraan Hashmi in a negative role.
