Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were among the star-studded couples, who attended the much-talked about pre-wedding functions of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The actors flew to Gujarat where the three-day celebrations were hosted in Jamnagar. After bonding with a host of celebrities, who were also a part of these events, Katrina and Vicky returned to Mumbai on Monday morning, after which, the actress penned a heartfelt note expressing gratitude.
On March 4, Katrina Kaif took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her and her husband’s look from the eve of Sunday, when the couple attended the Hashtakshar ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Katrina attended the event, which presented the theme of Indian traditional attire, in a heavily embellished beige and golden saree with her husband Vicky Kaushal opting for an equally royal look with a matching sherwani and his printed shawl added a perfect pop of colour to his overall ensemble.
Along with it, Katrina also penned a heartfelt note where she thanked the entire Ambani family for their warm hospitality and beautiful event. In the note, she also mentioned about visiting Vantara, the animal rescue and rehabilitation center owned by them. She wrote, “Such a wonderful few days with the the most gracious family and hosts one can imagine and what a beautiful spectacular vision that has been created at Jamnagar by Mrs. Nita Ambani Ji, Mukesh Ambani Ji, @aambani1 @_iiishmagish @shloka_ambani , so wonderful to see the incredible work at VANTARA by such a kind soul @anant.ambani.94 @radhikamerchant protecting those in need . Wishing the beautiful couple Anant and Radhika all the happiness and togetherness forever.”

The three-day pre-wedding bash hosted by the Ambani and Merchant families included six different events which were themed accordingly. It kicked off on March 1 with ‘An Evening in Everland’, a cocktail night filled with performances by international celebrities, followed by ‘A Walk By The Wild’ which was a trip to Vantara on Day 2 and the evening had Mela Rouge, a sangeet night that boasted of performances by Bollywood celebs. Day 3 included Tuskar Trails, which was about exploring Jamnagar, followed by the Hashtakshar ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
