Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan with his acting prowess, standout performances, and Gen-Z-friendly attitude, has made a name for himself in the industry. The actor is currently busy in promoting his upcoming release Shehzada. The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Paresh Rawal among others. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film is all set to hit theatres on February 17, 2023. In a latest interview, Kartik has shared his experience working with Rohit Dhawan and has given an overview of his upcoming release.

Every actor wants to do a David Dhawan kind of a film. These are commercial films, watched by families across. In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan was asked if his upcoming film Shehzada was in the same space. Kartik stated, “I think so. It’s the kind of films that were made in 90s. It’s a proper film where you want to watch it with your friends, family or in group basically. It’s a perfect film for community viewing. You would enjoy this more with a lot of people.”

Further talking about Shehzada, Kartik revealed, “There are emotions, there are these big action sequences, a lot of family values, but there are also lots and lots of comical elements which a lot of people love. So, I think that is a definition of a wholesome entertainer.”

Sharing his views on director Rohit Dhawan, Kartik said, “Rohit has that kind of a touch. He is very stubborn about what he wants, and he knows what he wants. So, I am glad he is the one who directed this film. He has got his own sensibilities into it mixed with the kind of actors that he casts. It’s a great amalgamation somewhere down the line and I feel this genre is something which we all have grown up watching. We have really stopped making this genre also and it is coming back with Shehzada.”

Kartik was last seen in Freddy, starring alongside Alaya F. The film was premiered online in last December. He will be next seen in Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon and Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani.
