Kartik Aaryan recently showcased the heart-wrenching story of Paralympian Murlikant Petkar, bringing the real-life character to life on the big screen in Chandu Champion. Having received tremendous love and appreciation for the tribute the film’s team paid to Paralympic athletes, the actor also showcased his love for sports. Now yet again, Kartik grabbed on to an opportunity he received, when he was asked to join the celebration of the spirit of Olympic and Paralympic champions, in a unified celebratory event hosted by Nita Ambani, which brought together 140 Olympians and Paralympians under one roof for the first time.

Kartik Aaryan was not only a part of this event where India's champions united to celebrate the spirit of Olympism in a grand celebration on Sunday, September 29 but he also took to social media to share details of the same. The actor posted a short video where the Paralympic champions Navdeep Singh and Preethi Pal can be seen cheering and shouting the famous dialogue, "Chandu nahin Champion hai main," from the film. He further captioned the post, "Kisi ko kabhi kam mat samajhna Chandu Nahi Champion hai (Do not ever underestimate anyone. They are not Chandu, they are Champions). With the Real champions".

Meanwhile, talking about his work commitments, the actor is busy with a series of projects in the pipeline. The first among them is the much-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyya 3 that marks his return as Rooh Baba and will also feature Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri in key roles. Directed by Anees Bazmee it is slated to release in Diwali. Apart from that, he also has another film with Triptii, directed by Anurag Basu, that is expected to be a romantic drama by T-Series. Among all these, Kartik has also collaborated with Karan Johar for the latter’s untitled production.
