Karisma Kapoor attended the annual function of Little Angels High School, lending her support and presence to the event. The school focuses on educating children from underprivileged backgrounds, whose parents work as daily-wage earners and strive to secure a better future for their families. The function was attended by around 500–600 parents and highlighted the efforts and performances of the students, reflecting their dedication and progress.
Addressing the audience, Karisma said, “Hi Everyone. It's such an honour and pleasure to be here today with all of you. Firstly, I'd like to say congratulations to the Shetty family, Mrs. Nisha Chavan, the entire faculty of teachers, parents and above all, all the wonderful students for putting up such a fantastic show and also 50 years of Little Angels High School. What a great thing! Thank you so much for having me on this special occasion.”
She added, “I'd just like to take a little more time and say a few words to all the children from the young grades to the higher grades. Something that I have lived by, my parents taught me that no matter whether we are in school or as we grow up to teenagers and young adults and then become like me (she laughs). But I truly believe my parents always taught me that hard work and sincerity will always pay off in life. So whether in school or as you grow up, you go to college, you do a job, nothing can take away from your hard work and sincerity and honesty in life. So continue working hard young children and one day you will achieve your dreams by being sincere and honest. It's just a small piece of advice that I have lived by. So please continue doing that.”
“I think education is of course most important for us and makes such a big part of our lives. So all you wonderful parents here, you’ll are supporting your children and children continue to support your parents with a lot of love and respect. I think nothing goes beyond respect and kindness in this world. Thank you so much,” Karishma concluded.
Her presence and heartfelt words left the young audience motivated and inspired, adding a memorable shine to a day that already brimmed with joy and pride.
