In a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2, sisters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor sat down for an engaging conversation with Kapil Sharma, where some intriguing revelations were made. While the episode itself was light-hearted, the unseen footage provided by the show’s “bacha hua content” has garnered particular attention, especially for Karisma Kapoor's playful expose of Kareena Kapoor’s gossip habits.
Karisma Kapoor Reveals Kareena’s Gossip Circle
During the conversation, host Kapil Sharma mentioned how filmmaker Karan Johar had previously revealed Kareena’s knack for being in the know about every piece of gossip in Bollywood. Adding to this, Karisma Kapoor humorously divulged the existence of a secret gossip nexus. She said, “I will share the truth. There is a nexus of three people, and it is not only gossip, but they know everything that is happening in the industry. This team includes Kareena Kapoor, and there is also Ranbir Kapoor.”
Kareena Kapoor, however, defended herself with a laugh, saying, “Gossip reaches us. We don’t call anyone to dig out information.” Karisma added a light-hearted anecdote: “Sometimes when I want to impress my sister, I call her and give some gossip. But she’ll say, ‘I already knew this, forgot to tell you yesterday.’”
Apart from gossip, the Kapoor sisters also shared fun stories about growing up together. When asked by Archana Puran Singh if they ever shared clothes, Kareena quipped, “She is way thinner than me, how will I share clothes with her?” To this, Karisma added, “As children, we never fought, but we only fought over one thing—my jeans. Bebo was the biggest jeans chor. I would open the cupboard wondering where my jeans were, and she would be wearing them.”
Karisma further shared how Kareena was always the naughty one during their childhood and mentioned that Kareena’s younger son, Jeh, seems to have inherited this mischievous streak.
