Kareena Kapoor Khan, the reigning queen of Bollywood, is making headlines beyond the silver screen – in the world of business investments. In a recent interview with Forbes India, Kareena opened up about her foray into investing, offering candid insights into her philosophy and approach.

While admitting, "I'm not very business-minded," Kareena's investments in brands like Pluckk and Sugar Cosmetics suggest a growing interest in entrepreneurship. "This is something I tried for the first time," she shared, acknowledging the learning curve. "Investing your money is something everyone's picking up. So whether it was Pluckk or Sugar Cosmetics; investing in these companies was a no-brainer."

But Kareena's relationship with money isn't without its quirks. "I'm a self-proclaimed spender," she declared with a laugh. This self-described "YOLO" (you only live once) attitude often clashes with her sister Karisma, who urges her to prioritise saving. "She says, you are such a spendthrift and save money. And I'm like – what's the need to save money because we're just living once!" She chuckled, "Constantly, this is our every morning battle.”

For the unversed, in August last year, Bebo partnered with Pluckk, India’s leading lifestyle-oriented fresh fruits & vegetables brand, as an investor and brand ambassador. Later, in October, she formed a joint venture with co-founders of Sugar Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee, to launch a Korean skincare brand Quench Botanics.

Coming to the professional front, the 43-year-old actress was last seen in Jaane Jaan, a Netflix original film. It was released on September 21, 2023, and also starred Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She will be next seen in The Buckingham Murders, The Crew and Singham Again.
