Punit Malhotra turns 30 today. He has directed several films including Student of The Year 2, I Hate Luv Storys among others. Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Farah Khan extended their wishes to the filmmaker by wishing them on their respective social media accounts.

Kareena took to her Instagram Stories and wished her Gori Tere Pyaar Mein director Punit Malhotra on his birthday. Sharing a black white picture of them, she captioned, “Janamdin Mubarak ho Sir ji.”

Farah Khan also wished the filmmaker on his birthday. She shared a video of Punit from a flight where he can be seen having fun with photographer Avinash Gowariker. Sharing the video, Farah wrote in caption, “Don’t u think u should behave ur age .. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU @punitdmalhotra .. its good @avigowariker is so used to these antics that he barely reacted.”

Farah also shared a beautiful picture along with Punit on her Instagram Story.

Punit Malhotra is a Bollywood director who has directed a number of films. One of his notable works is Student of the Year 2, which was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The movie marked the debut of young actresses Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. Although it was highly anticipated, the film failed to make an impact at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Punit has also directed the romantic comedy film I Hate Luv Storys featuring actors Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. The movie, which was released in 2010, received mix review from critics.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The film released on August 11, 2022, and arrived on Netflix on October 6, 2022. She also has the adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. She has wrapped the shoot for Hansal Mehta's next. She is currently shooting for The Crew with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The story of The Crew follows three women who work and hustle to move on with life. But as they try to make their way forward, their destinies lead them to some unexpected and unwarranted situations, leading them to get caught in a web of lies.
