Actor Karan Tacker recently opened up about a deeply transformative experience from the sets of his paranormal series Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery, revealing how a pivotal scene compelled him to access emotions he had never consciously explored before. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a series of behind-the-scenes images that offered a stark glimpse into the physical and emotional intensity of the sequence.
The photos feature Karan with realistic injury marks, stitched wounds and detailed prosthetic work, including visuals of him lying on a medical gurney. Bare-chested and visibly bruised, the stills underline the rawness of the scene and the immersive preparation that went into it. However, beyond the physical transformation, it was the emotional aftermath of the sequence that left a lasting impact on the actor.
Reflecting on the experience, Karan shared that the scene forced him to imagine a life ending far too soon and the people one leaves behind. In his caption, he wrote, “This scene introduced me to an emotion I didn’t know how to access. Imagining a life cut short, and the people you leave behind—it just stays with you.” He further added that the feeling lingered long after the cameras stopped rolling, offering him what he described as an unsettling yet profound perspective on mortality.
Karan also acknowledged the contribution of makeup artist Shashank D, crediting the realistic prosthetics for making the moment feel strikingly real and emotionally overwhelming. According to the actor, the authenticity of the injuries heightened his mental state during the shoot, blurring the line between performance and lived emotion.
