Netflix has unveiled the teaser of its upcoming reality series Desi Bling as part of the Next On Netflix 2026 India slate. Set against the backdrop of Dubai’s ultra-wealthy Indian expat community, the show promises an inside look into a world driven by money, status, and social power.
Described as a high-stakes reality series, Desi Bling follows television personalities Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash as they enter one of Dubai’s most exclusive desi social circles. What begins as a glamorous introduction quickly escalates into a complex web of shifting alliances, strained relationships, and unfiltered gossip, where appearances often mask deeper fractures.
Sharing the intent behind the series, the team behind Desi Bling said, “With Desi Bling, we wanted to lift the veil on one of Dubai’s most exclusive desi inner circles - a world where money talks, status rules and gossip travels faster than WhatsApp forwards. The reality series is created and produced by Different Productions, with Mazen Laham and Lama Samad serving as executive producers, while Marcel Dufour takes on the role of showrunner.
Alongside Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, the show features an ensemble cast including Satish Sanpal, Tabinda Sanpal, Rizwan Sajan, Adel Sajan, Sana Sajan, Pamala Serena, Dyuti Parruck, Iryna Kinakh, Alizey Mirza, Lailli Mirza, and Janvee Gaur, all of whom are part of Dubai’s elite social landscape.
At the Next On Netflix India 2026 presentation, Monika Shergill, Vice President – Content, Netflix India, reflected on the platform’s decade-long journey in the country, saying, “Ten years of Netflix in India isn’t a milestone we mark alone. Desi Bling is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2026, adding to the platform’s growing slate of Indian unscripted and reality content.
