Karan Johar pens emotional note for twins Roohi and Yash as they turn 6; gives a peek into their birthday celebration, watch : Bollywood News

Filmmaker Karan Johar has been in the showbiz industry for almost 27 years as a filmmaker and film producer. Though he has a successful career, it's his personal front that makes it to the headlines. The filmmaker surprised everyone in 2017 when he announced the birth of his twins Roohi and Yash Johar. Today, on February 7, Roohi and Yash turned 6.

To mark the occasion, KJo took to his verified social media handle and shared a video montage featuring clips from their birthday celebration party, which was organised for the two on February 1. Going by the video, the outdoor party was replete with songs, dance and swings. Meanwhile, the video also gives glimpses of Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi's kids, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Farah Khan and her triplets, amongst many others.

Captioning the video, the 50-year-old filmmaker wrote, “Precious Pieces of my heart turn 6 today… this love is difficult to describe but it feels like a burst of so much love that every other emotion takes a back seat! I am blessed to have mother with me on this parental journey! God knows I would be nowhere without her… she’s the pillar all 3 of us lean on! Happy birthday Roohi and Yash!”

He further added, “Be anything you want to be but please Always be kind… dada loves you to the moon and back!”

Reacting to the video, a bunch of Karan’s friends from the film industry dropped birthday wishes for his twins, including Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karisma Kapoor, Farah Khan Kunder, Ananya Panday, Bhumi Pednekar and Raveena Tandon, among others.

Coming to the professional front, Karan is all set to mark his comeback with his upcoming directorial venture, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer, which was said to release in April earlier, is slated to hit theatres on July 28.
