Actor Karan Deol finally tied the knot with his longtime love Drisha Acharya on June 18. The wedding celebrations were in full swing this past week. Karan's sangeet ceremony was filled with his family, friends, and a few celebrities from the industry. On Sunday, the groom-to-be arrived at the wedding destination along with his father Sunny Deol, uncles Bobby Deol, Abhay Deol, and grandfather Dharmendra. A series of photos and videos have surfaced on the internet of the couple performing the wedding rituals.

Karan Deol wore an ivory sherwani along with a turban whereas Drisha wore a red bridal lehenga for the ceremony. The two of them were sitting at the mandap. Earlier in the morning, Karan was seen with Sunny, Dharmendra, and Bobby and was surrounded by family members at his baaraat. Dharmendra was smiling for the paparazzi and even dancing along to the beats of dhol.

On Friday, a grand sangeet ceremony was held in Mumbai. Jasbir Jassi was the singer at the event who crooned 'Naiyyo Naiyyo' from Soldier where Sunny and Bobby were dancing together. Ranveer Singh set the stage on fire with the 'Apna Time Aayega' performance. Dharmendra set the stage on fire with Karan and Rajveer Deol to the beats of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'. Bobby and his wife Tanya also gave a heartwarming performance at the ceremony.

Drisha Acharya is the granddaughter of Bimal Roy. Dharmendra said in an interview with Times of India, “I said, ‘Go ahead if Karan likes her’. Then, I met Drisha. The meeting happened at my house. She is a very sensible and pretty girl. And, she comes from an illustrious family. I am very happy for Karan and Drisha. They have all my blessings. I welcome the new addition to the Deol family.”

Karan Deol became the third generation actor in the family and made his debut in 2019 with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. He was cast opposite debutante Sahher Bambba. The film was directed by his father Sunny Deol. Following his debut, which failed to work at the box office, Karan Deol starred in the 2021 movie Velle. In this film, he worked alongside his uncle, Abhay Deol. The movie also starred Mouni Roy and Anya Singh. It was produced by Ajay Devgn and directed by debutante Deven Munjal.

On the work front, Karan will next be seen in Anil Sharma’s Apne 2. He is the additional cast member along with the stars from the first film of the franchise – Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol.
