Comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma has been constantly in the headlines ever since the makers of his next film, Zwigato, released the trailer. While the release is around the corner, Kapil and the team are not leaving any stone unturned to promote Zwigato. Besides the film, Sharma is also talking about various aspects of his personal life. Recently, Kapil commented on him being an egotistical and insecure man. While rejecting the suggestion that he is an ‘insecure’ man who can’t see others succeed, he explained why so many cast members of The Kapil Sharma Show have quit over the years, and he also fallout with former cast member Sunil Grover.

It all happened during his interaction with Aaj Tak. When the host told, “It is said that you are an egotistical and insecure man,” Kapil responded by saying, “I’ve never felt insecurity. In fact, I’ve brought people on that I admired… I used to be short-tempered, I’ll admit. It was in my blood; I was an extremist. I would love passionately, and when I was angry, I would really lose composure. But I have improved.”

The 41-year-old actor further explained, “People say I have rivalries. But I have no rivalries with anybody, I am the one and only. Call me egotistical if you will…” Later, he directly addressed his fallout with Sunil Grover, and said, “Ask them why they don’t want to work with me. Yes, Sunil and I had a falling out. But I’m on good terms with the rest of them.”

Coming back to Zwigato, directed by Nandita Das, it is slated to release on March 17. Besides Kapil, the film features Shahana Goswami as the lead. Going by the trailer, the forthcoming film will give a sneak peek into the life of a food delivery rider.
