Actress Kangana Ranaut has voiced her disapproval of a 'fake couple' who are spreading false information about movie projects. She further alleged that during a recent family trip, the wife and their child were disregarded, while the husband reached out to Kangana through text messages, supposedly 'begging and pleading' to meet up. This statement by Kangana appears to be a veiled reference to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Recently, Ranbir had accompanied his mother, Neetu Kapoor, and their family to London to celebrate her birthday, while Alia Bhatt remained in India for the promotions of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with their daughter, Raha. Kangana also alleged that Ranbir and Alia's marriage was influenced by the coercion of a powerful figure she referred to as the “mafia daddy.” According to her, the “mafia daddy” made promises of a movie trilogy, which can be assumed to be Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. It is evident that Kangana is implying Karan Johar's involvement as the “mafia daddy” and the film trilogy being referenced.
On Tuesday, Kangana took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “In another news a farzi husband wife jodi who lives on separate floors and pretend to be a couple are spreading fake news about movie announcements which aren’t being made also calling a brand owned by Myntra their own… besides no one wrote about how wife and daughter was snubbed from a recent family trip, while so called husband was texting me begging and pleading to meet him. This farzi jodi needs to be exposed.”
In the following Story, Kangana wrote, “This is what happens when you marry for movie promotions/ money/ work and not for love… this actor who married under the pressure of a mafia daddy was promised a movie trilogy in return for marrying papa ki pari, movie trilogy has been canned and now he is desperately trying to break free from the fake marriage… But sadly no takers for him now… He must focus on his wife and daughter… This is India ek baar shaadi ho gayi toh ho gayi… aab sudhar jaao.”
Kangana shared her thoughts weeks after multiple reports suggesting that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to portray Goddess Sita and Lord Ram, respectively, in the highly anticipated film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. According to these reports, actor Yash is also being considered for the role of Raavan.
