Bollywood actress Kajol is all set to star in The Trial, a forthcoming release on Disney+ Hotstar. Recently, Kajol’s daughter Nysa has been frequently photographed either alone or with her friends, displaying growing confidence with each public appearance. Kajol shared insights into her daughter's experiences with the paparazzi, shedding light on her journey.

During a recent interview with NDTV, Kajol recounted her daughter Nysa's initial interaction with photographers. She disclosed that when Nysa was just two years old, they were surrounded by the media during their visit to Jaipur. She said, “It was when Nysa was two years. We had gone to Jaipur and at that time, we did not travel with security. The paparazzi came, 20-25 of them came and surrounded us and started yelling. Nysa burst out crying at that time. She was only 2. I just picked her up and I just walked straight into the car. I told her that these people mean you no harm, it's just their work so don't worry about it. If you have noticed I have kept my children away from it.”

Moreover, when questioned about whether she provided any guidance to her daughter Nysa on dealing with the paparazzi, Kajol stated that her children are acquiring knowledge through their own encounters. She went on to acknowledge that Nysa is effectively managing the media attention and handling it with composure. Kajol said, “Nysa has learned from her own experience. I have to say, she is handling it very, very well. She is handling it with a lot more grace and dignity than I would have. If I was in her place, toh mera chappal bahut pehle nikal chuka hota. They have learnt through experience. Whatever they have learnt through experience cannot be greater than whatever I teach them.”

Coming back to The Trial, it is a Hindi adaptation of the American political-legal drama, The Good Wife. The series will start streaming on the OTT platform from July 14 onwards.
