Tanishaa Mukerji, who made headlines with her stint in Bigg Boss and later won hearts in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, is all set for another reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. The actress will be seen exploring her dancing skills along with a host of other celebrities from different walks of life on the show, which is expected to kick start during Diwali. A promo from the same gave us a glimpse of Mukerji’s first performance on the show and judge of the show Farah Khan seemed mighty impressed and addressed her as a ‘star’. But an emotional Tanishaa asserted that she is not ‘a star’ but she is yet to reach that milestone.

Going by the promo which was unveiled in the official social media handle of SONY TV, Tanisha Mukerji is expected to perform on the famous number ‘Laila O Laila’. While we received glimpses of her dancing skills, it seems that she left the judges too impressed on the show. While judge Malaika Arora couldn’t stop cheering for her, choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan too appreciated Tanishaa and maintained that she is a ‘star’. Responding to the comment, Tanishaa said emotionally, “Meri family mein Ajay Devgn, Kajol sab stars hai. Main wo mukaam tak nahi pohochi (In my family, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and others are all stars. But I couldn’t reach those heights)”.

For the unversed, Tanishaa Mukerji is the daughter of popular yesteryear star Tanuja and sister of superstar Kajol. The actress kicked off her career in Bollywood with Sssshhhh and has also made her debut in Tamil as well as Telugu films.

On the other hand, coming to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, the dance reality show will air from November 11 onwards on Sony TV, every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm.
