Jawan: After Vijay Sethupathi, Ridhi Dogra says that she would have worked with Shah Rukh Khan for free : Bollywood News

Filmmaker Atlee Kumar’s Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. The action entertainer has been in the news ever since it was announced. And when the film’s prevue was released earlier this month, it raised the excitement level all the more. Apart from the entertaining nature of the prevue, it is SRK’s fame that has helped the movie trend continuously.

But Shah Rukh’s popularity isn’t only limited to the general audience. Recently, he co-star Vijay Sethupathi said in an interview that he would have acted in Jawan for free just to get a chance to work with Shah Rukh. Speaking to PinkVilla, he said, “I did Jawan only for Shah Rukh Khan sir. Even if I didn't get a single penny, I would have still worked with him.”

Now, after Sethupathi, his co-star Ridhi Dogra has also agreed on the same. Recently, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan quoted Sethupathi in the aforementioned quote on Twitter. Ridhi quote retweeted the tweet and simply wrote, “Same!” She conveyed through a single word how much it means for her to be Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star.

In the prevue, which has gone viral, Sethupathi can be seen only for a bit. Ridhi, however, is absent from it. It seems that the makers wish to keep the characters of both the actors under wraps.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya. The movie is all set to be released worldwide on September 7.
