From the very first glimpse of the action-packed prevue of Jawan, audiences have been on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting this very moment. The songs introduced everyone to the various flavours of this thrilling action saga, with each note resonating with Shah Rukh Khan's magnetic charm. But it was the trailer that stole the spotlight, fulfilling the demands of countless fans and driving the online world into an ecstatic frenzy! Jawan trailer is bursting with action, adventure, and heart-pounding thrills. We noted down 8 highlights of the trailer.

1. TRAIN HIJACK AND ALIA BHATT REFERENCE

You first see Shah Rukh Khan’s vigilante bald avatar when he hijacks the metro train. The commuters are scared for their lives. He receives a call from the police when they ask what it is that he wants. Replying to this, he quips, “I want Alia Bhatt”. Some of the most out-of-pocket moments are seen in the train sequence.

2. DEEPIKA PADUKONE IN FLASHBACK?

Reuniting with Khan after the mega-blockbuster Pathaan, the actress is set to have a special appearance in the movie. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, rumours are rife that she will be seen in flashback scenes, and she will be the love interest of Shah Rukh Khan, who seems to go from a soldier to a vigilante.

3. EIJAZ KHAN AND YOGI BABU

While TV actor Eijaz Khan makes an appearance in the Hindi trailer, during the same time stamp, Yogi Babu makes an appearance in the Tamil and Telugu versions. It is interesting to see two different cuts for the same trailer with different stars.

4. SHAH RUKH KHAN IN DOUBLE ROLE

He is the villain and the hero of the movie. While Vijay Sethupathi is about to out-villain every other villain in the history of villains, he is facing off the ‘baap’ of all villains – Shah Rukh Khan. Since it is known that SRK has dual roles in the movie – he plays the father and the son. It seems like one is a dutiful cop whereas the father is a soldier-turned-vigilante. Donning different looks for the different eras amid the action-packed adventure, it will be a rollercoaster ride.

5. NAYANTHARA’S BOLLYWOOD DEBUT

Lady superstar Nayanthara makes her Hindi film debut with her favourite star Shah Rukh Khan. She plays the love interest of SRK. She is a dutiful cop who will go to any length to protect the country. It seems like she is trying to bluff her partner in order to get more details about his father who is a known vigilante. She works with Sunil Grover’s character who gives intel into the life of the vigilante.

6.VIJAY SETHUPATHI AS THE MAIN VILLAIN

From the very first look of Vijay, one has to agree that he is going to obliterate the role of the antagonist as Kali. From a young gangster to an older version, he looks menacing throughout the glimpses in the trailer.

7. CALLBACKS TO THE PAST

From dialogues like “Bete ko haath lagane se pehle uske baap se baat kar” to “Jab main villain banta hoon na” to “Hum Jawan hai, apni jaan 1000 baar daav par laga sakte hai par sirf desh ke liye” – all seem to be an ode to his past whether it is intentional or simply a coincidence.

8. GIRL GANG

Leading a pack of women including Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Amritha Aiyer among others, it is intriguing how SRK’s character recruited all of them for his mission.
