From the chartbuster ‘Lungi Dance’ that left fans swooning in Chennai Express to his latest song ‘Zinda Banda’ from Jawan, the superstar’s association with the lungi has struck a resounding chord. The first song of the film, which was launched recently, has been at the top of the global music charts since then.

Speaking of Jawan, it is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee. Produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, among others in pivotal roles and it is slated for release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
