Legendary music composer Jatin Pandit has been indulging us in his melodious tunes and compositions for decades. The composer of iconic songs like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001), ‘Yaha Ke Hum Sikandar’ (1991) and dozens more, has released his new single ‘Waqt’ on his YouTube channel. Jatin has now diverted his attention from Bollywood films to composing music for his social media platforms. The song is an ode to togetherness and love.

Raahul Jatin voiced the romantic song and revealed that the song was originally made for Kainaz Pandit. He shared "I had come home and my mom told me that Papa had made this song for her and I knew that they had a little bit of an argument the previous day. I think it's a very pretty song and we should absolutely release it". While speaking to Jatin Pandit, he shared a sweet message for his wife Kainaz Pandit and said, "We have a very beautiful relationship with each other, even though our marriage is thirty-odd years old, our relationship is still fresh." Jatin added, "We go out of our way for the happiness of each other. In life, ups and downs keep coming but I keep going. It is because of my kids and my beautiful wife, that they keep me positive. They add colours to my life and that makes my life beautiful. I would like to declare that my wife is my life and I love her very much".

Jatin is often rightly labelled as the King of romantic songs. Raahul, who sang this romanic number, shared that the song was easier to make this time compared to when he was recording for the previous song ‘Madhoshiyaan’ as Jatin was not present in music production this time. He added, "One of the good things about working with Dad on 'Madhoshiyaan' was that I have a good understanding of his style and how he would want someone to record the singer and what sort of rhythm he would like. It was just a little more interesting, challenging, and exciting for me to see what Dad thinks about how it is coming along and I am very happy with the way I have sung the song".
