Jannat Zubair, who has appeared in series such as Kashi, Phulwa, and Tu Aashiqui, announced the news of her maternal grandfather's death on her social media account with broken hearts.
The actress shared photos of herself and her granddad from her childhood. In the photos, she is seen sitting on his lap, riding on his back, and playing in the water with him by her side. "Mere nanu. Allah apko Jannat ata farmaye." she wrote with the photos.

Meanwhile, Jannat recently appeared alongside Siddharth Nigam in Bigg Boss 15. The two teenage sensations had a blast on the show with host Salman Khan, even getting him to dance to their song's beats.
The actress is currently taking a sabbatical from television. She recently featured in a music video 'Wallah Wallah'.
