Janhvi Kapoor wraps her next Ulajh: “Everything about this journey has been so healing”

It’s a wrap for Janhvi Kapoor starrer Ulajh, produced by Junglee Pictures, which commenced shooting in London in June 2023. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew. Directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria, this international thriller delves into the intriguing world of the Indian Foreign Services (IFS), offering a fresh take on the genre.

Janhvi Kapoor on Sunday night shared a series of photos with the director and the crew of the film. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “It’s a wrap. still having dreams of the world we tried to create. Each film has been a lesson, and it’s story deeply and coincidently intertwined with things happening in my life. And through Suhanas journey, and the journey of making this film- my biggest learning has been to allow yourself to love what you do, to identify if you’re doing it for the right reasons, to let go of baggage and external pressures and opinions. To get off a hamster wheel that leads to nowhere and let yourself walk to your own pace, as long as you believe in where you’re going.”

She added, “@iamsuds you have made me believe in myself in a way that I didn’t even know I needed. You made me feel heard, and seen and made me want to fight battles that I never knew I had a right to even be a part of. To see you smile in the face of each obstacle and embrace each challenge with enthusiasm is beyond inspiring. @shredevdube I am so grateful that I was baring my soul to a lense that was being held by you, I felt protected, inspired and sooo much love. You made each moment feel intimate and bigger than any of us at the same time. Everything about this journey has been so healing, and that’s only because of our amazing team!!! Speaking about it, Janhvi Kapoor said, "I have learned so much through this experience, I wake up every day and feel so inspired seeing each one involved in the film, giving their heart and soul to everything. It was amazing to see how passionate everyone was, how high the energies were, and how fun everything was. "

Adding to it, Roshan Mathew said, "Since day one I used to joke saying that I have come here to just shoot the film and not make any friends but fortunately now I can say there will be people I will definitely miss a lot, from Junglee Pictures, all the other actors and everyone involved in the film."

Actor Gulshan Devaiah jokingly said, "Ulajh's India schedule was nice but the London shoot was amazing."

Lastly, director Sudhanshu Saria expressed, "I feel so grateful, I received more than I asked for, I always keep thanking the amazing cast and everyone in Junglee Pictures."
