Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her big ticket Bollywood debut with Karan Johar‘s Dhadak this Friday and the lady has not left any stone unturned to make sure that her film is received well in the urban areas as well as the hinterlands of the country. While promoting the film she was asked if she considers Sara Ali Khan her competition since she too will make her debut this year. Janhvi was at her dignified best when she said that she does not compete with Sara and is excited to watch her on screen as any other member from audience. She also said that Sara holds great promise and that women should support each other. Now, that’s really sweet and matured of her isn’t it?
While Sara Ali Khan is juggling two projects Kedarnath and Simmba together, Janhvi is seen concentrating on only one. Sridevi‘s daughter spoke about this and said that she wants to make sure that she is a part of post-production and promotion of her first film. Only after its release will she think about her next project. She made it clear to media that her priority is Dhadak and nothing else, currently. It is natural that Janhvi Kapoor wants to make sure that she does her job really well because there are a lot of expectations riding on her and more importantly, her performance in the film is a tribute to her mom, late actress Sridevi.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Dhadak will release on July 20. It is a remake of Marathi superhit blockbuster Sairat and stars Ishaan Khatter in lead role with her.
