Actress Janhvi Kapoor shares her thoughts on filming and getting the opportunity to play Gunjan Saxena with a heartfelt post that she shared yesterday, on her Instagram account.

She played the lead role of Gunjan Saxena in the movie titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The movie was Inspired by the life of a fearless young officer who made history by becoming the first Indian female Air Force officer to fly in a combat zone during the 1999 Kargil War She felt grateful for the people that helped her in the journey. She shared a few pictures from the set of the movie, with director and rest of the team.

She captioned the post saying, "Nothing I ever say will do enough justice to what this journey has meant to me. I could have never even dreamt of a creative process that felt so pure and enriching, in every way. And I’m so grateful for all the people that helped make it that way, and most of all to Gunjan Mam for letting us be privy to her spirit and her rare sincerity, something that continues to guide me and shape my outlook in everything I try to do. And Sharry, for recognizing and making us all feel the importance of what this story stood for. You made trusting the process feel more fruitful than daunting, and that was more valuable than any reward we as a team could have asked for #GunjanSaxena”

On the work front, Jahnvi Kapoor last featured in Roohi, opposite Rajkumar Rao. She is currently working on her upcoming Good Luck Jerry, with co-star Deepak Dobriyal. The movie is Hindi remake of 2018 Telugu released film Kolamaavu Kokila. She also has Dostana 2 and Takht in her kitty.
