Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, currently basking in the success of Param Sundari, has offered a heartfelt glimpse into her personal aspirations, especially regarding marriage and love. In a candid discussion with Vogue, the actor revealed her vision for a quaint wedding ceremony paired with an indulgently extended honeymoon.
Regarding her dream wedding, Janhvi said, “I know I want to get married in Tirupati. I definitely don’t want too many people there. I want it to be quick; I want the honeymoon to be very long. I definitely know that whatever I wear will be Manish [Malhotra], because he’s my favourite person and he’s family.” Her desire for simplicity resonates with many opting for an intimate setting in Tirupati and prioritizing comfort in her bridal attire, especially after countless hours spent in designer outfits onscreen.
Beyond the nuptial details, Janhvi delved deeper into modern romance, arguing that today's pursuit of instant gratification has altered the nature of love. She observes that this shift often makes romance feel transactional and questions whether people now truly have the patience or willingness to cultivate meaningful connections. She continued, “I’m a hyper-romantic, devoted individual. But I also think that I’ve been extremely lucky in my personal life, so I value and cherish how rare what I’ve found is. And I love the institution of marriage. I love the idea of creating a family life, a unit that is yours, of having someone who’s on your team, of being devoted to them.”
