Jamie Lever has learned from the baaps of comedy for her upcoming show Pop Kaun : Bollywood News

Disney+ Hotstar brings the biggest comedy show of the year with Hotstar Specials’ Pop Kaun featuring Kunal Kemmu, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Chunky Panday, Saurabh Shukla, the Late Satish Kaushik along with Nupur Sanon and Jamie Lever! This show will mark Jamie’s debut and she recently opened up about her prep for the show.

Jamie Lever has learned from the baaps of comedy for her upcoming show Pop Kaun

Jamie Lever revealed that she hasn’t only learned from her father Johnny Lever, Pop Kaun gave her the opportunity to observe and learn from the baaps of comedy. She said, "He was there through a phase where I was doing shows with him, so he used to watch me, help me write jokes and help me with how to deliver the jokes, how to work on punchlines, how to write a sketch. He trained me quite a bit. My uncle sat with me every day and literally shaped me as I am today. If I call myself a stand-up artist, I have to give him the credits for that. Definitely my uncle, my dad has put in the hard work, to turn me into the actor I am today, the artist that I am today.”

She went on to add, “Actually, on the set of Pop Kaun, I have learned so much not only from my father but also from the baaps of comedy, you know, from my father to Late Satish ji, to Saurabh Shukla ji, to Rajpal ji, Farhad sir also, he has acted in the show and he has done so well. I have learnt so much from him. Just how he thinks you know, just how quickly he comes up with things and the lines that he has, so humorous,” said Jamie Lever.
