The team of RRR celebrated their massive win. Following a blockbuster run in India, RRR grew in terms of becoming a massive sensation in international territories. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is truly a global sensation. The humble actor whose star power knows no bounds was recently mentioned by the Hollywood legendary filmmaker namely, James Cameron. Speaking to the US media via video interviews, Cameron was all praises for Ram and his powerful albeit astute performance in the award-winning film, SS Rajamouli's RRR.
The critically praised movie RRR was hailed as a victory by the Avatar director. James Cameron discussed his interaction with SS Rajamouli and Ram’s role in RRR in an interview with Zoom TV.
James Cameron spoke to Speak Easy and stated that, “And the journey that you on, especially understand the Ram character, which was very challenging, and then you finally understand what's going on in his head, and it's heart-breaking and I just think it's a triumph. And I told Mr Rajamouli this in person recently. But we didn’t really get much time to talk. It was in a crowded thing. I would love to talk to him more.”
Rajamouli previously disclosed that James Cameron watched his movie RRR and liked it so much that he recommended it to his wife and watched it again. At the Critics' Choice Awards, where RRR took home the Best Foreign Language Film honour the previous year, Rajamouli and Cameron crossed paths.
This is a huge moment for Indian Cinema and Indian content where stalwarts from the west have collectively noticed one actor and praised his performance, Take a Bow Ram Charan!
Coming to the professional front, the 37-year-old actor was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He will be next seen in RC15, opposite Kiara Advani. Directed by S. Shankar, the title and release date of the film are yet to be announced.
