Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta, who are quite active on social media, shared a unique caption in their Valentine post earlier this month, hinting at them embracing parenthood for the second time. Now, the couple have not only confirmed the details but have also expressed their excitement regarding the same. While Vatsal expressed his desire to have a daughter, Ishita has also shared some learnings from her recent motherhood experience.

In an interaction with ETimes, Ishita Dutta opened up about how her previous experience has helped her in her second pregnancy. She said, "We are excited and much more prepared this time around. With Vayu, every experience was new. I remember I would run to the doctor often, but this time my doctor is surprised that I'm not calling him frequently. My parents have moved in with us, so I have a good support system at home." Meanwhile, Vatsal Sheth also shared his joy and added, “We just want the baby to be healthy and would love for Vayu to have a little sister.”

"It is real. Motherhood is a unique experience, but a woman goes through a lot of changes in her body and moods. Vatsal has always been a great support. I am glad that he was a great support and he still is. Even now, a month ago, I had tough time physically, but I endured it well." Vatsal continued, "I feel every time a woman becomes a mother, her partner needs to understand and support her. It is a beautiful journey for the parents but can be a little tough when you are in a nuclear family set-up. I often joke with Ishita that we should sleep well till our baby arrives and think of holidays only after two to three years now."

The actor-couple, who met on the sets of the show Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar, tied the knot in November 2017. While they welcomed their first child, Vayu in 2023, they will be becoming parents once again this year.
