After shuttling between Mumbai and London for a while, the actress took off to Delhi to spend time with her in-laws, the Ahujas in the capital. The entire Ahuja family planned a grand celebration with Vayu turning a year old this year, and they rang in the birthday with equal enthusiasm, with an extensive feast as well as beautifully themed décor.

In association with Rani Pink, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the celebration. Along with a traditional ceremony which was held for her son’s first birthday, Sonam shared photos of some beautiful moments with Vayu as well as the Ahujas and her parents, Anil Kapoor as well as Sunita Kapoor, who visited their daughter for this special occasion. She also gave a sneak peek into the pretty origami décor as well as the adorned dining area which was decorated as per the blue and gold yellow color theme.

Besides the actress, the official Instagram page of Rani Pink too posted the photos of how the Ahuja mansion in Delhi was decorated for this grand occasion. The actress’ post received a lot of love from many of her industry friends, wherein her co-actresses like Kajal Aggarwal, Bipasha Basu, Huma Qureshi, Bhumi Pednekar, Farah Khan Kunder, among others dropped their birthday wishes for the actress as well as her son Vayu.

Sonam Kapoor, who tied the knot with Anand Ahuja in May 2018, announced their pregnancy in March 2022 on social media. Later, after the arrival of the child on August 20, Sonam also took to the platform to share the good news with her fans, followers, and well-wishers.
