B-town is known for its lavish and grand parties. So, when it came to celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali, the celebrities left no stone unturned with all pomp and show. Several industry stars threw lavish parties including Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty Kundra.

Sonam Kapoor turned the grand hostess at the Diwali party at her dad Anil Kapoor's residence. While she looked regal in her outfit, another royalty present at the party was her Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan. The two of them had a blast posing for pictures together.

Ranbir Kapoor also made sure to attend Anil Kapoor's Diwali bash where he met Parineeti Chopra. We came across a cutesy picture of two of them and hugging and posing for the cameras.

It was all about girl gangs at the party where many actresses and producers hung out together. Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen hanging out with Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and stylist-producer Rhea Kapoor. Rhea shared this moment with a caption that read, "Diwali feels... spot the producer."

At Anil Kapoor's party was the vivacious Jacqueline Fernandez who was making duck faces and getting lovely kisses by Alia Bhatt.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and now Veere Di Wedding co-stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar stuck by each other's side at the party.

Another set of party people were Kapoor sisters- Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor- who were by their favourite designer Manish Malhotra's side.

Sanjay Kapoor also shared a lovely photograph with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Anu Dewan and Sunny Dewan and wrote, "#aboutlastnight #happydiwali #funnight."

Alia Bhatt was definitely having the greatest night by spending with her favourite actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan. The Udta Punjab ladies looked amazing in their traditional attires as they posed for the cameras.

Parineeti Chopra definitely had the time of her life as she met her most favourite actor Saif Ali Khan while Ranbir Kapoor photobombed them. She captioned the picture, "My favourite."

Even Aamir Khan's party was lit. Dangal star Fatima Sana Shaikh shared a group picture featuring her co-stars Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra, Kiran Rao, CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, Rang De Basanti co-star Atul Kulkari, Dil Chahta Hai co-star Akshaye Khanna and Rahul Khanna.

Deepika Padukone and Sidharth Malhotra, who recently shot an advertisement together, reunited on Diwali day.
