Indian cinema’s first ever onscreen kiss : Bollywood News

As we celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema, our films have come a long way from the silent black and white era to the recent Box-Office hits. Though the censor board has strict rules these days for onscreen display of affection, some of the black and white Indian films in the pre-independence era however did have its good share of onscreen kissing.

We came across some these images that depict the first ever onscreen kiss in the Indian film Karma (1933). The said sequence features Devika Rani and her husband Himanshu Rai.
