India won the T20 World Cup match in Melbourne, Australia against Pakistan in one of the most thrilling matches. While Hardik Pandya and Ravichandran Ashwin won hearts, Virat Kohli made his long-awaited comeback and was hailed for his performance. Shah Rukh Khan, who was watching India vs Pak match on Sunday, took to Twitter to share his message for the Indian Cricket Team and praised Virat Kohli.
“So good to see a great game of cricket. So wonderful to see India win. So brilliant to see @imVkohli batting….and so inspiring to see him cry and smile….and the background score of Chak de India!! Happy Diwali starts right now,” he wrote. Chak De India is Shah Rukh Khan’s film where he played the coach of the Indian Hockey Team.

Virat Kohli’s performance on Sunday took over social media. Following 18 months of tough time during matches, he ended up becoming the star of the night. He gave up the T20 captaincy after his performance at the World Cup. He later gave up Test cricket captaincy too. Now, cricketer Rohit Sharma is the Captain for India across all formats.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make 2023 his year with three big releases, starting with the film Pathaan. It will be released in theatres on January 25, next year. The film stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Anand. It is being directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from that, he will be seen in Atlee's Jawan in June 2023. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Deepika is expected to make a cameo as well in the film and she recently shot her scenes in Chennai. This will be followed by Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki in December 2023. The film stars Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani.
