Be it participating in Bigg Boss or fun banter with paps, actress Rakhi Sawant has often created a laughter riot for her viewers. Recently, she entered Bigg Boss Marathi 4, which concluded a few days back. As the model-turned-actress is outside the BB house, she has again grabbed headlines. However, this time she was seen crying on the camera instead of a cracking mindless joke. For the unversed, a sobbing Rakhi can be seen informing her fans that her mother is suffering from a brain tumour and cancer has spread to her lungs.
On January 9, the former Bigg Boss contestant posted a video on her verified Instagram account and requested her fans to pray for her mom. She can be heard saying, in a mix of Hindi, Marathi and English, that she came out from Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4 last night. “(Got to know) My mom is not well, she is in hospital.”
The Main Hoon Na actress further requested everyone to pray for her mom, she said that she is not feeling her best. “She is fighting a battle with cancer. We just came to know that she has a brain tumour with cancer.”
The video also featured a doctor, to whom she asked what was wrong with her mom. A person in the video explained that her left side is paralysed. Meanwhile, a doctor added that a sample has been taken out and sent to a lab and by Friday, the result will come and only then will they come to know how much radiation she requires. “Her cancer has spread to her lungs, it is not feasible to operate on her right now.”

Within a short time, numerous celebs and fans reacted to the post. While Rahul Vaidya told her to stay strong, actor Mahima Chaudhary commented, “My prayers wishing her good health.” Meanwhile, Delnaaz Iraani asked Rakhi to ‘take care.’ Pavitraa Punia and Sofia Hayat also extended their support.
