In a recent interview with The Times of India, Ileana opened about her son Koa and the story behind his unique name. She revealed, "I was convinced that I would have a girl. So, all I had were baby girl names and I didn't think about a single name for a boy. I wondered whether I should keep a few names ready as a backup, but then, I was sure it would be a girl." The surprise of having a boy led her to search for a distinctive name that would stand out.

Ileana shared that the name Koa stood out to her because of its uniqueness, which she resonated with, given her own unique name. She discussed the name with her partner, Michael Dolan, who also found it appealing. She explained further, "Phoenix is a name that's been in my mind for a while. Also, the line 'Rising from the ashes like a phoenix' is inspiring. In fact, I got a tattoo of a phoenix in 2018, which had a deep meaning for me. Mike loved the name and I hope Koa likes it too when he grows up."

On the professional front, Ileana was recently seen in the film Do Aur Do Pyaar, co-starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy. As she continues to balance her career and motherhood, Ileana's candid sharing of her journey and the special moments with her son have endeared her even more to her fans.
