Adah Sharma is not scarier, she isn't dating any director or a singer and she isn't lost in wilderness, and if this isn't sarcasm, what is? It amuses her to recall and she has left her past only to accept her present as a gift. But today Adah is on cloud nine, a bit closer though, and on top of the world (that includes her terrace) as she invites me to her apartment terrace. Weird isn't it? It's almost 7.30 pm and the sun has set. She is standing at a distance on the top of a huge tank built on the terrace and that scared the s*** out of me. And what was an actress doing on the top of the tank of her terrace? Actors are eccentric sometimes, aren't they? Anyway, I climb up the tank and there she was offering me a refreshing rose drink: a perfect way to quench your thirst on a humid Monday evening. You might want to remember the name Adah Sharma as she is storming the small screen with her big brand commercials: Nokia with Sharman Joshi, Olay with Katrina Kaif, the currently aired Limca ad and her unreleased Parachute ad with Anushka Sharma. Even in the dark, you look at her and you get mesmerised. It's no wonder she's looking so cool in the summer heat and even though she is waiting for her second film to be announced soon, there is no denying that desperation can be pretty evident when you meet her. Yet, for all the wait and watch, Adah Sharma still remains a mystery. At first glance, I could well believe it. The actress has recently launched her website and we're sure she's finally here to stay! I mean, stay connected.
"I am getting big advertisements than big films right now"
I am getting big advertisements than big films right now but I feel that's destiny. It's God's grace and I am really lucky. Normally it's the other way around, first you do big films and only then you get the big commercials. Guess I'm going the other way (laughs).
"I'm eagerly waiting for my Parachute ad to go on air"
My new advert that is doing the rounds is Limca and the one I'm eagerly waiting for to go on air is the latest Parachute advert. I really liked the concept and the theme of the advert. It starts off with my childhood when I'm three years old and how I am always the side character in every school play and there is always a lead girl every year who has lovely hair. The time I use Parachute I too get to be the lead. But it's the way they've shot it is more alluring.
"I shot with Anushka Sharma for a day"
We shot the advert for four days as hair shots take a very long time. I shot with Anushka Sharma for a day. I did tell her that I loved her performance in Band Baaja Baaraat and she acknowledged my comment. I haven't interacted with too many actors or actresses as I am relatively new. Actresses can be friends.

I know that in times when social networking is everything, I am an alien to it. But I have opened my twitter account @adah_sharma and I do have my account of Facebook too. I am quite terrible when it comes to socialising but I am trying to learn.
"I have finally come up with my own website www.adahsharma.me"
As I am not too socially friendly on networking sites, I have finally come up with my own website that is www.adahsharma.me for all my well wishers and fans who can know that I do exist (laughs). A lot of the audiences want to know what films I am doing and I've had a lot of feedback after the Limca advert and have heard a lot about my first film 1920. I want to touch base with them in the simplest of manner and website is where they can get it all. I have my pictures, videos, and my fans can talk to me and stay connected. I am one of the people who monitor the site. I didn't want music and the usual 'trying to impress' style for my website. So I made it very simple for people to access it easily.
"I want to do a movie that I want to watch and that's why I am taking a bit of time to select the right kind of films"
I am doing Pri And Me with Dev Goel but currently that's the working title. We still have one schedule to go and that's about it. I just don't want to do movies that I won't watch. I will do any movie but I want to do a movie that I want to watch and that's why I am taking a bit longer, a bit of time to select the right kind of films I'd love to be a part of. Hopefully, you will hear some news soon from the film front.
