Popular Indian television actress Hina Khan needs no introduction. With her performance in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the actress has become a household name. Hina was last seen in Naagin 6; after that, she was featured in multiple music videos. While a section of her fans is waiting for the actress to return to the TV screen, currently she is on a spiritual journey. For the unversed, ahead of the Holy month of Ramzan, Hina performed her first Umrah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Hina Khan's trip to Mecca is a deeply spiritual experience for the actress as she shared several pictures and a video of her journey on social media. On March 21, she shared a carousel post, which features four photos. In the photos, she can be seen sporting a smile, yet an elegant look in a head-to-toe white outfit along with a hijab of the same colour. In another photo, she can be seen posing with her mother inside an airplane.

Hours after sharing the photos, the 35-year-old actress dropped a video. As the clip starts, Hina can be seen standing ahead of a TV screen which shows Masjid al-Haram. In a blink, she covers the screen with her hand and cuts to the venue. She can be seen at the holy place. Captioning the video clip, she wrote, “Pehla Umrah mukammal May Allah accept our ibadat. (First Umrah completed, May Allah accept our prayers).”

For the unversed, performing Umrah is a highly significant act in Islam, and it involves a series of rituals that are steeped in tradition and symbolism. Not only of her first Umrah, but Hina gave a peek into her second Umrah as well. On March 22, she shared a post and captioned it, “Doosra umrah mukammal.. / Mashallah Jazaakallah.. / May Allah accept our umrah and dua.. Thank you Allah for making it easy for us all.”
