Just recently we had reported that Kangana Ranaut had bought herself a new bungalow in Manali. In fact, we had also shared an image of a pooja being done that featured Kangana and her family. Well today, Kangana Ranaut turns a year older and to mark this special occasion the actress decided to do something that not only benefits the environment but will also serve as memory for years to come.

Marking this special day Kangana Ranaut decided on planting 31 saplings in the yard of her new bungalow in Manali. Taking to the micro blogging website, Kangana’s sister Rangoli shared an image of the actress getting her hands dirty in the mud while planting the saplings. Posting the image Rangoli added, “On her b’day our little Queen gifts herself a greener planet ...May you live long and live a beautiful life .. #HappyBirthdayKanganaRanaut”.

While we must admit that this sure is a way to pay it forward on your special day, back on the work front Kangana Ranaut who was last seen in Simran has her hands full. She is currently shooting for the ambitious film Manikarinka – The Queen of Jhansi. And soon, she will commence work on her next venture Mental Hai Kya with Rajkummar Rao. Besides these two, the actress is also supposed to do a film with Shekhar Kapur in which she plays the role of an 85-year-old woman.
