The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy was one of the most talked about and successful films of the year 2019. The Zoya Akhtar directorial gives a peek into the world of street rappers. On February 14 this year, the film turned four, and to celebrate the same, director Zoya Akhtar posed for a selfie with Ranveer Singh, Vijay Varma, and Siddhant Chaturvedi while missing Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin.

For the unversed, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day 2023, Zoya took to her verified social media handle and shared a blurred selfie featuring her along with Gully Boy actors Ranveer, Vijay and Siddhant. Instagramming the photo, Zoya wrote, “Missing Safeena ♥️ And Skye ♥️ We Turned 4,” in the caption. Reacting to the post, Siddhant dropped a red-heart emoticon in the comments section.

On the other hand, Vijay Varma also dedicated his latest Instagram post to the four years of Gully Boy. He dropped a photo dump featuring BTS shots from the sets of Gully Boy and its promotional events. In his caption, Vijay wrote, “4 years of #GullyBoy / The movie made with so much love, passion and compassion that it resonated with all and apna time aayega became the anthem. Big love to the entire team and to the audience who had made the film their own. Happy Valentine’s Day people,” followed by a red-heart emoticon.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt also shared some fan-made videos on her Instagram story section and celebrated four years of the film.

Coming to the professional front, Zoya Akhtar is gearing up for her next directorial venture, The Archies while Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will be reuniting for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. On the other hand, Siddhant will be next seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan opposite Ananya Pandey, and Vijay Varma will be sharing the screen space with Tamannaah Bhatia in the second instalment of Netflix’s original film, Lust Stories.
