Ahead of the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show (TGIKS), host Kapil Sharma and his team made a special visit to the Wagah Border in Amritsar on Sunday. The visit, which took place just days before the show’s premiere on Netflix, saw the TGIKS team interact with the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel stationed at the iconic border post.

Kapil Sharma, along with his co-stars Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, and Rajiv Thakur, donned matching T-shirts featuring the show’s name as they posed for pictures with the BSF personnel.

A video from the visit, shared by Kapil on his social media, captured the team smiling brightly and waving at fans gathered at the border. In his caption, Kapil expressed his gratitude, writing, “Happy to be in my hometown and meeting our BSF jawans at attari border, #amritsar #punjab.”

Season 2 Trailer Released: Star-Studded Guest Line-Up

This visit comes on the heels of the release of the much-awaited trailer for Season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In the trailer, Rajiv Thakur teased viewers, saying, “This time around, witness the vibrant colours of Indian culture alongside the biggest superstars!” The trailer, brimming with Kapil’s trademark wit, showcased several comedic moments featuring the returning cast, including Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover.

The upcoming season promises to host a wide array of Indian film stars, with guests such as Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Jr NTR, and filmmaker Karan Johar. In addition to actors, the season will feature appearances by cricketers Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Arshdeep Singh.
