Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have long been admired as one of Bollywood’s most cherished couples. Known for their warmth and easy camaraderie, the two have often been described as “inseparable yet happy” — a sentiment Genelia herself reflected on while celebrating Riteish’s 47th birthday.
To mark the occasion, Genelia shared a heartfelt post dedicated to her husband. Posting a series of black-and-white photographs, she spoke about the bond they have shared over the years and the reasons behind their enduring closeness.
“I know everyone who knows us wonders how we are inseparable and yet so happy about it, even after all these years. But the truth is it’s all YOU,” Genelia wrote. She went on to praise Riteish’s kindness, sense of humour and empathy, adding that he makes everyone around him feel valued. “You are love. You are grace. You make me laugh, and even if I cry, you wipe away every tear… For me, I have you 24/7 — just imagine what I get to experience from the man who has a heart of gold,” she added.
Concluding her message, Genelia expressed how deeply she cherishes him, writing, “I will celebrate you every day, every minute, every second because you are all that and more. Happy Birthday, my heartbeat. You have my heart — just keep it safe with you.”
When Riteish Deshmukh Cheered for Genelia
Earlier this year, Riteish Deshmukh publicly expressed his pride and happiness over the positive response to Genelia Deshmukh’s film Sitaare Zameen Par. The film had opened to encouraging reviews and performed well at the box office.
Riteish had shared a family photograph featuring himself, Genelia and their children, along with a heartfelt message. “Waking up smiling to great reviews and box office collections of #SitaareZameenPar….. happy & a proud husband….. congratulations Baiko @geneliad,” he wrote.
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza got married in 2012 and are parents to two sons. The couple welcomed their second child, Rahyl, in 2016.
