Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), once again showcased his trademark charm and warmth as he playfully responded to heartfelt birthday wishes from India head coach and former KKR captain Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir had posted a heartfelt message on November 2, 2025, celebrating the close bond and years of association they share within the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Gambhir, who led KKR to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014 and returned as a mentor in 2024 to guide the team to another championship win, wrote, “Birthday greetings to the brightest star shining in our lives! His success is second only to his humility & grace! Lots of love @iamsrk.”

Speaking of the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2026 and promises to be one of Bollywood's biggest action thrillers of the year. Directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously collaborated with Shah Rukh on Pathaan, the film carries high expectations. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment and co-produced by Marflix Pictures, the film will mark the big-screen debut of Shah Rukh’s daughter, Suhana Khan. The ensemble cast also features major names such as Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma.
