Actors Ravi Kishan, Naila Grrewal, Nidhi Bisht, Anjum Batra, Anant Joshi and Kusha Kapila, creator Saurabh Khanna, director Rahul Pandey, writer Kunal Aneja and Tanya Bami, Series Head, India, Netflix, attended the trailer launch of their show Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 in Mumbai. Ravi was the highlight of the show and his impromptu dance on his entry caught everyone by surprise.
Rahul Pandey was also another surprise and he said, “I was observing backstage that all these actors are pretending to be sweet, simple and innocent. Ravi sir ne taareef iske liye ki kyunki unhe pata tha ki main stage pe aa raha hoon!”
When asked who was the most mischievous on the sets, he revealed, “Ravi sir.” Ravi Kishan cutely admitted, Yes, I am indeed mischievous.”
Rahul Pandey then narrated, “After Season 1 of Maamla Legal Hai, Ravi sir signed a lot of projects. So there used to be 2-3 scripts in his vanity van at any given time. Whenever he had to deliver monologues, I used to request him to be on the set a little early. During such days, I would go to his vanity van and do rehearsals. As sir said, we had limited time to shoot the series. Also, doing comedy in a limited time is a big challenge. On one hand, crew complains that ‘light ja rahi hai’. In such situations, if the actor demands AC and other facilities, then it won’t be practical.”

Rahul continued, “So, one such day, I went to his vanity. In a rush, sir picked up some other script! He told me, ‘Main toh poori padh ke baitha hoon. Main toh rehearsal kar ke baitha hoon’.”
Ravi Kishan admitted, “I picked up the script of Ma Behen by mistake. That film is also a Netflix original. Maine uski script padh li galti se. It was my mistake!”
Rahul Pandey added, “Meanwhile, the team of Ma Behen told me that he’s so engrossed with Maamla Legal Hai and that he would tell (the former) that I shot the whole day for us.” At this point, Tanya Bami quipped, “Woh rehte toh Netflix pe hi hai. That’s important.”
Maa Behen also stars Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri. As for Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, it releases on Netflix on April 3.
