For Arshad and Riteish, F.A.L.T.U is not about money : Bollywood News

For their starry appearance in F.A.L.T.U., Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh have not yet charged a penny. While this is a goodwill gesture that they have extended for Vashu Bhagnani who is going all out to ensure that his son Jackky gets a good platform for himself, the producer is at his wits end to pay the actors their right remuneration.

For Arshad and Riteish, F.A.L.T.U is not about money

"In an industry where actors first talk about money and then the script, all Arshad and Riteish asked Vashu was the timeline when they had to shoot for F.A.L.T.U. . They know how important the film is for Jackky and hence showed active interest in knowing details around their roles in the film. Money was never discussed", says a source from the production house.

This also stems from the fact that especially with Riteish, Vashu enjoys a long standing relationship. After his debut flick Tujhe Meri Kasam, Riteish's second film was Out of Control which was produced by Vashu. Later, he also did a cameo in Kal Kissne Dekha, Jackky's launch pad, and then had a full fledged part alongside Govinda in Do Knot Disturb.

"Contrary to what a few think, Riteish and Arshad are not playing cameos in F.A.L.T.U. and actually have well fleshed out characters. In fact Riteish was there for 40 days of shooting and has even locked 10 days for the film's promotion", informs the source, "When Vashu asks them about the price, they don't tell him anything. While Riteish is family, for someone like Arshad it is even more surprising because he is very conscious about his money deals."

Now that the film is just a month away from release, Vashu plans to reach out to Riteish and Arshad again to freeze the money part. He says, "Both Riteish and Arshad say that will ask me for their cheques when they are in need of money. I don't want to wait for that though."

When asked about his next step, Vashu laughs, "In any case industry bahaut badnaam hai jab paise ki baat aati hai. I want to be clean in my deals. Paisa toh main unhe doonga, chahe ghar jaake dena padhe."
