On Friday, the cast and crew of Farzi had attended the trailer launch of the show. While addressing one’s experience with the director, veteran actor Amol Palekar said, “Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru are the kind of directors who know exactly what they want, in fact not only what they want but also, they want to be different than what they have done. This was something which was so heart-warming and lovely”.

“Shahid of course is such a fantastic actor that he is. I have been his fan for a long time and to work with was a sheer pleasure”, he added. While patting Bhuvan Arora’s back, he said, “Same goes with this young man Bhuvan, it was a sheer pleasure working with him too.

Further expressing his regret, he shared, “Working with this entire team was so fulfilling. I only regret that I did not get any chance to work with Vijay Sethupathi”.

Produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, Farzi revolves around the life of a man who can go to any extent in order to fulfil his dream of leading a luxurious life. However, the major obstacle he faces is an honest but brutal cop who wouldn’t stop at any cost to find him and expose his conspiracy.

Along with Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi, the series also features an ensemble cast including talented actors like Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar. Directed by Raj & DK, Farzi, the series will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023.
