Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, welcomed prominent figures from the Indian entertainment and music industries at his residence earlier today. Among the distinguished guests were Shri Devraj Sanyal, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group, India & South Asia; acclaimed actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Farhan Akhtar; and award-winning producer and co-founder of Excel Entertainment, Ritesh Sidhwani.
Taking to Twitter, Mr. Fadnavis shared that the trio visited him to express their deep appreciation for the vision of Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Government of Maharashtra in organizing the recently concluded WAVES Summit. The guests lauded the summit for fostering meaningful discussions and opening new avenues for alliances within the entertainment and media industry.
“They specifically came to express deep appreciation for the vision of Hon. PM Narendra Modi ji and the execution by both I&B Ministry and Govt of Maharashtra for putting together a very successful WAVES Summit,” Fadnavis noted in his post.
