Fahmaan Khan misses Imlie co-star Sumbul Touqeer; shares UNSEEN BTS photos from the show : Bollywood News

While Megha Chakraborty and Karan Vohra are trying to keep up with the Aryan – Imlie romance as Imlie and Atharva, there are many who have expressed their desire to see the return of Aryan and Imlie. The onscreen couple of Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer was loved so much by the audience that many of them wished that they even tie the knot with each other. As a treat to those fans, Fahmaan recently got nostalgic about the Star Plus’ show and posted some rare and unseen BTS (behind-the-scenes) photographs of Aryan and Imlie from the sets.

Taking to social media, Fahmaan Khan seems to have gone into nostalgic mode as he recalled his Imlie days and dedicated the post to his friend Sumbul Touqeer. He captioned it saying, “Since it's missing hours. Here are some unseen pictures #Imlie #Arylie” along with a couple of smiley-face emojis. The post obviously received a lot of love from Arylie fans who dropped comments, notes as well as emojis to showcase their love towards the popular characters.

In one of the notes shared by one of the fans, it said, “Yes dear Imlie wasn’t just a character. She was a doll. Not a barbie doll but an Idol. And Aryan was her hero, her muse, her guide, her philosopher, her inspiration, her necessity, her pole star, her partner her 50:50 partner. Don’t know why but still I feel so is Fahmaan to Sumbul….. love you both apple of my two eyes.” In yet another note written by a fan, it read, “Imlie and Aryan are not only characters of the show... They are connected to us..that is the only reason we are not able to move on from them and you guys ... How many ever projects you may do in future.. Arylie will always hold a special place in our heart.. and no moving on from them... #arylimajormissing #sumaan.”

Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan quit the show last year before a two decade leap. The story now focuses on Aryan and Imlie’s daughter Imlie and her trials and tribulations as she tries to carve her own niche based on her parents’ teachings. The show airs on Star Plus.

As for Sumbul, the actress recently came out of the Bigg Boss 16 house after a long journey in the reality show. And Fahmaan has moved on to another show on Colors’ titled Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan - Dharam Patnii.
