The nationwide lock-down, which is now extended till 3rd May, is proving to be a stressful period for many of us. However, it is also an opportunity to spend as much time as possible with our near and dear ones, given that our usual, chaotic way of life leaves little room for that. We recently caught up with actor Kriti Sanon for a conversation.
Kriti, who is spending the time with her family in Mumbai, has been indulging in good times, putting on her dancing dresses at times, cooking up some dishes and enjoying her hobbies. Durig our interaction with her, a fan happened to ask her how life was going to change after this lock-down, and the actor came up with a rather thoughtful answer.
"You start valuing a lot of things a lot more. I am thankful and I am blessed that I am privileged enough to be in this situation where I have a comfortable house, where I have food. I know there are so many people who don't even have the basics. I am trying to do my bit to help them in whichever way I can. But I do think you realise, that everything is temporary. You realise that you do need to stop running, take things slow, and not always be in a hurry to achieve. Also, look around. I think it is this lock-down that has made me and my family start having meals together. Which is something that we have been doing after a very long time. I don't remember last when we sat on a dining table and had a meal together," she said.
Kriti also revealed that each family member was cooking a meal in a day, and her father was enjoying it thoroughly! She wants to continue with this new habit of enjoying a meal with the family, and we hope she does.
The actor will be next seen in Laxman Utekar's Mimi.
