Yash Raj Films’ action extravaganza, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. Following much anticipation, the makers of the film unveiled the highly awaited trailer of Pathaan on January 10. This marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan after five years on the big screen in the lead role.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Taran Adarsh while sharing his views about Shah Rukh Khan starring Pathaan said, “I absolutely have great expectations from Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the big screens after almost 5 years. In December 2018 his full-fledged film Zero had released. He performed cameos in many films in these years but Pathaan is his full-fledged film. I think it is going to get fantastic start at the ticket counter, plus it is a great weekend. The film is releasing on January 25; January 26 (Republic Day), following which it is Sunday. But Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Salman Khan are also there in the film. So now it is up to the film to deliver the content because in terms of hype and craze, be it any reason whether you like its song or don’t, whether you like its trailer or don’t, whether you like its teaser or don’t, whether you like its poster or don’t, regardless there is an excitement to watch the film among the common men”.

Further sharing about the hype the film has created among people, Taran said, “When I meet a lot of non-film people and they ask me about Pathaan, that is when I feel people are talking about it as they want to know. The announcement regarding the trailer launch on January 10 brought a lot of excitement among the audience. I guess it should translate into huge box office numbers”.

Pathaan is being touted as India’s biggest-ever action spectacle that audiences have ever seen on the big screen. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
