Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has given several hits over the years and has been entertaining his fans through decades. However, the actor has given consecutive flops including Thugs of Hindostan and Laal Singh Chaddha, which did not perform well at box office. Film critic Taran Adarsh recently shared his views on the same.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, talking about Aamir Khan’s career graph, Taran Adarsh said, “He is the person who introduced 100 crore club with Ghajini. Aamir Khan is the person who introduced 200 crore club with 3 Idiots and then 300 crore club also (with Dangal). And now he is at the bottom of the ladder. This is because of I guess only two Fridays. One Thugs of Hindostan which was a terrible film and Laal Singh Chaddha which was a bad film also.”

Sharing his views on Aamir in Thugs of Hindostan, Taran stated, “When Aamir Khan works in a film, expectations multiply. I agree Thugs of Hindostan was a very shoddy film, very badly written film but look at the combination, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Yash Raj, it can’t go wrong; but it went wrong.”

Taran also reviews Aamir in Laal Singh Chaddha. He said, “Laal Singh Chaddha is your own home production, but even his performance, if you ask me, I did not like it. I genuinely did not like it. Aamir is a brilliant actor, but I don’t know what went wrong with his performance in Laal Singh Chaddha.”

“Some portions in the film were good like the last one which was an emotional portion. Otherwise, film was a very poor one. Even the writing was so bad, that you can't stand it after a point,” he asserted.

Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie struggled at the box office and failed to impress the audience. Aamir had earlier spoken about his career and said he would take a year and a half off from acting when he made an appearance at an event in Delhi.
